| The area is very well served by city buses. It is within easy reach
from the port and the train station, a 10 minutes’ taxi ride
from the airport. Within walking distance you’ll find a post
office, banks, the shopping area, restaurants, pubs and cafés. Within easy reach there is the old town, full of art and curiosity. The area of Castello: the old fortified citadel placed over the Marina area, the old fishermen’s place, where you will find a quantity of small restaurants proposing delicious typical Sardinian food. Stampace and Villanova areas will give you the chance to browse about in old artisans’ workshops and small shops.
